In other news, I decided to add a page called Beats.  I've got several hundred beats recorded, and I figured why not offer them to the public for use?  I'll be publishing some instrumental tracks there soon, and there will be a business model in place to help me get some equipment I need to finish up Pride in The Fall.  The good news is that all tracks can be used in any recording, regardless of financial gain to the artist, but I'm copyrighting all the songs and won't be allowing artists to copyright the music in case I want to use it in the future.  The benefit of that is that I can use my music without having to pay royalties to artists who use my tracks.  The benefit to the artists is that they can use the music as though it's their own without ever having to pay any royalties to me.  I'm all about giving back to the community, but you've got to protect yourself in this day and age.  So hope you all like the new beats that will be going up, and I'll keep posting updates as they occur.  Peace!

What's up folks?  So as January comes to a close, I've got 7 songs recorded for the album.  That's the good news.  The bad news is that my mastering setup was failing me, and the 'final mastered versions' I put on the songs page were deeply flawed.  So I'm back to the drawing board with those.  I'm still recording new songs, and the most recent ones are Best Regards, Hold On and Online Dating (LOL).  Gotta make fun of stuff in our society that seems broken, right?  Anyways, new songs and finished mixes coming, so hang in there and we'll be off to a running start with the entire album completed by the end of February.

Just got done mastering the new song, You're Wrong and I'm Sorry.  Let me know what you think in the comments.  I've got another handful in process, so more will be up soon!  Pride In The Fall will be a 12 track album, so 8 more to go.

So some basic engineering skills came into play, and the microphone dilemma has been sorted out.  Not only that, but a new song is finished and I'll be posting it in a few days.  Looks like I'm back in business.  Peace!

Okay folks, we've hit a bit of a snag.  It seems some of the production equipment has fallen on hard times.  Specifically, my microphone, may it rest in peace.  Currently I'm producing more music and writing lyrics to it, so when I get the new mic (once this winter apocalypse clears up) I'll be ready to record a good number of songs.  Hang in there!  More content coming soon.

Okay, so it's looking like the production schedule for these tracks is speeding up.  2 new songs today, Taken and Fallen.  3 more are in production right now, and should be up in the next 2 weeks.  Stay tuned!

A new year, and time to put those resolutions into action.  For me, first on my priority list is finishing up this album and getting it online.  Tentatively titled Pride In The Fall, this one is a bit dark and deals with some of the issues we all face in life.  The first song recorded, Lovely Poison, will be one of the last songs on the album.  I have a new song I just finished writing music and lyrics to called Taken that should get posted within the next week or so.  I hope all goes well for everyone, and  keep an eye out as there will be many updates to the site throughout 2012, especially leading up to the release of Pride.  Cheers!
